Guides and answers for creating, editing, sharing and embedding a digital flipbook catalog, plus a smart bot that answers every question instantly.

🚀Getting Started & Subscription

Opening an account
How do I open a flipo account?

Go to flipo.co.il/signup, fill in your name, email and phone, and choose an address for your catalog (a subdomain). You will get a verification email, and once you click it your account is active and you can upload your first catalog. No credit card is needed to open an account.

Free trial
What does the free trial include?

A 14 day free trial, with no credit card. During this time you can upload a catalog, edit it with every component, and view it live. Some capabilities are limited in the trial: 3 AI copywriting uses, file storage up to 10MB, and downloading the catalog to your computer is available on a paid plan only.

Pricing
How much does flipo cost?

An annual subscription at a launch price of 999 NIS per year (instead of 1,499 NIS), everything included: a branded catalog address, a full management and editing system, clickable areas, video and galleries, sharing, QR and website embedding. An extra full catalog: 30% off your plan price (for example 699 NIS per year at the launch price). Creating catalogs and partial publishing is unlimited and included at no extra cost.

Creating a catalog
How do I create my first catalog?

After logging in, click "Create new catalog". There are three paths: (1) upload a ready PDF and the system turns it into a flipbook catalog; (2) build manually and edit from scratch; (3) "Create a full catalog with AI", a wizard that builds a complete catalog for you. From there you can edit every page and add interactive components.

AI wizard
What is "Create a full catalog with AI"?

A smart 8 step wizard that builds a complete catalog for you: (1) catalog details; (2) catalog type: brand, a store with an order cart (products with prices and an add to cart button), or a quote request (each product has a button that opens a ready inquiry on WhatsApp or email with the product name and SKU), including a manual product editor with name, description, SKU, price and image; (3) branding: logo, slogan and colors from the logo; (4) typography; (5) brand colors; (6) content: text, links, files, notes and highlights for the AI, plus an inspiration catalog (a link or PDF) so it learns structure and style; (7) layout and page count; (8) contact details and social. When done, the AI designs full studio grade pages: professional page templates (a cover with a hero image; in a focused catalog with up to 10 products, a full stage page per product with a full-bleed photo, a close-up circle and key points; plus product pages, articles, galleries and a closing page with contact buttons and a QR) rendered on the server into a flipbook catalog and also a print ready vector PDF. You move between steps with auto save. Available on paid plans (the trial includes a free quota).

I gave the AI wizard my website address, what does it do with it?

The wizard visits the site you provided and pulls the real text from it (headings, descriptions, about) along with product images, and builds your catalog pages from them: images are placed into galleries, text becomes headings and paragraphs, and the contact details you entered (phone, WhatsApp, email, website) are wired to the contact page and the QR code. It is important to enter a full, working site address (for example www.example.co.il). If the wizard reports that it could not read the site, the site may be blocking automatic reading (bot protection, common on large sites) or the address may be wrong. In that case the safe and fast approach is to copy the text from the site and paste it directly into the content step.

What is the three-proposals screen that appears after creating a catalog with AI?

When an AI catalog finishes generating, flipo shows the generated cover next to two alternative design proposals of the exact same catalog: same pages, same texts and same images, in a different design language (for example luxurious and restrained with serif headings, or bold and graphic with heavy display type). Click “Continue with this” to keep the generated look, or “I want this one” on an alternative, and flipo dresses the whole catalog in your chosen direction in under a minute. The choice does not count against your AI creation quota, and you can switch design directions later while editing the catalog.

File requirements
What kind of PDF can I upload?

Any valid PDF file. We recommend up to 50MB for fast loading. A4 portrait pages look best in double page flip mode. If the PDF is very heavy, compress it before uploading, screen quality is preserved very well even after compression.

B2B & sales reps
How do I adapt the catalog for sales reps and B2B customers?

flipo is especially suited to sales reps and business-to-business work: (1) the catalog opens directly on any phone - a rep sends a WhatsApp link and the B2B customer immediately sees a designed price list/catalog; (2) password protection - sensitive price lists meant only for agents can be locked with a password; (3) WhatsApp order cart - a B2B customer taps the products they want and sends an organized order to WhatsApp; (4) printable QR code - add it to a printed catalog so the customer also gets the digital version; (5) customer-portal embed - an iframe code embeds the live catalog inside your customer portal. For multiple reps, send everyone the same link - each opens it from their own phone, no app needed.

Landscape catalogs
How does a catalog with landscape (wide) pages look and flip?

On a wide screen, a catalog with landscape pages (presentations, wide price lists) opens as a real double spread, like a book: two pages side by side, and when you flip, the turned page rests visible on the other side. On phones and narrow screens the catalog automatically switches to one page at a time. You can flip in several ways: clicking or dragging a page corner (when dragging, pull the page past its middle to complete the turn), the keyboard arrows, and the arrow buttons in the bottom bar. If the catalog has background music, stop it with the note button in the top bar - the stop sticks while you keep flipping. When the owner previews the catalog in the admin's catalog view, a persistent floating note button shows whether music is playing and toggles it with a click.

Sample catalog
Where can I see a live sample catalog before signing up?

A full live demo catalog is available at demo.flipo.co.il - a coffee roastery's product catalog (a demo brand) with page flipping, a table of contents and every viewer feature. There is also a fully separate English version at demo.flipo.co.il/en - an English catalog that flips left to right with its table of contents on the left, like a real English book. Both demos are open to everyone, no signup needed.

✏️Editing Your Catalog

Entering edit mode
Can I edit the catalog from my phone?

No, editing and managing catalogs is available on a computer only (dragging components, designing and managing pages need a large screen and a mouse). Viewing the catalog itself works great on any phone, as does sharing on WhatsApp. To edit, open the same address on your computer.

How do I enter management and edit mode?

In the catalog, click the settings icon (gear) in the top bar and log in with your password. You can check "Remember me on this computer for 30 days" so you do not have to log in every time. Inside management you see all the catalog pages, and clicking the pencil next to a page opens the page editor.

Page editor
How do I edit a page in the catalog?

Click the pencil icon next to the page in the list. The page opens large with a component bar beside it: pick a component (heading, text, button, video and more), drag it to the spot you want on the page and resize it. Every change is saved automatically, you will see "Changes saved" next to the save button.

How do I zoom in while editing a page?

In the corner of the page being edited there are magnifier + and - buttons: each click on + zooms in by 25% (up to 300%), and minus zooms back out. When zoomed in you can scroll within the page to work precisely on a specific area. Every page opens at 100%.

Can I undo an action while editing?

Yes. In the corner of the page editor there are two arrow buttons: "Back" undoes the last change (up to 25 steps back), and "Forward" redoes an action you undid (up to 10 forward). You can also use keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+Z to undo and Ctrl+Shift+Z to redo. This lets you experiment freely without worry.

Pages
What happens if I switch to another page with unsaved changes?

If you started editing a page and clicked the pencil of another page before saving, a "Save changes?" prompt appears with options to save, discard, or cancel and stay. This way changes are not accidentally lost when moving between pages.

How do I add, delete or reorder pages?

In the page list: up/down arrows move a page, the trash icon deletes it (with confirmation), and "Add page" adds a blank page or a grouped page. You can also duplicate the entire catalog or reset it from the floating menu.

Catalog settings
How do I enable page numbering?

In the management page header, next to "Catalog settings", turn on the "Page numbering" toggle. The numbers appear at the bottom of every page in the live catalog. You can turn it off in the same place at any time.

How do I show my logo on every catalog page?

In the management page header, turn on "Show my logo on every catalog page" and choose a position from the list: top/bottom right/left corners, or center top/bottom of the page. You update the logo itself in your personal area. If no logo has been uploaded yet, nothing will show until you upload one.

How do I add a table of contents to the catalog?

In "Catalog settings", under "Page and display", turn on "Show table of contents" and click "Manage table of contents". A window opens where you add topic by topic: for each topic you write a name and choose the page it starts on (with a thumbnail of the page), you can drag between rows to reorder and delete a row. Save, and in the live catalog a "Table of contents" button appears that opens a side panel. The viewer clicks a topic and jumps straight to its opening page, and the row of the current page is highlighted. If you add, delete or reorder pages, the topic numbers update automatically.

How do I download the catalog to my computer?

In the management page header, click "Download catalog" and the PDF file downloads to your computer. This is available to customers on a paid subscription (during the trial the button is disabled).

Can viewers download the catalog?

That is up to you. On a paid subscription, in the management page header under "Catalog settings" there is an "Allow catalog download" toggle: when it is on (green) viewers see a download PDF button in the catalog bar, and when it is off (gray) the button is hidden. By default download is off for customers. Changing the toggle reaches viewers after you publish the catalog.

Background
How do I change a page's background color?

In the page editor, click the "Background" tool in the component bar, choose a color (or sample a color from the page with the eyedropper) and the background is applied to the page. Note: the background is baked into the page on save.

Components
How do I add a product to order with a WhatsApp cart?

In the component bar click "Product", place it over the product on the page, and in the settings fill in a name and price. In the live catalog the viewer clicks the product, it is added to a floating cart, and with one click a detailed order is sent to your WhatsApp. You set the target number in "Catalog settings" under "WhatsApp for orders".

What is an "AI page" and how do I use it?

The "AI page" tool in the component bar builds a full, designed page for you from a short description: click it, describe the product or offer (for example 'gray sofa, 5 year warranty, 2490 NIS'), and the AI adds a heading, description, button and designed shapes to the page. Then you edit everything as usual. Available on paid plans (the trial includes a free quota).

How do I add sound or background music to the catalog?

In the catalog editor there is a "Sound" component in the component bar. Drag it to the page, and in its settings choose one of two ways: (1) "flipo built in sounds", a library of ready clips (ambient, piano, beat, ocean waves and more) that you can preview and pick with a click, with no copyright worries; (2) upload your own mp3 or wav file, before the upload a copyright responsibility notice appears that you must approve, and the file is compressed automatically so the catalog stays fast. The component settings also include a trim tool: you see the waveform, choose a start and end point, preview the clip and save only it. In the live catalog a speaker button appears, and the viewer clicks it to play or stop the sound (the default is looping playback as background music). Note: for files you upload, you may only use content you have the rights to.

What shapes and frames can I add?

The "Shapes" tool offers over 40 shapes: rectangles, circles, triangles, stars, arrows, heart, cloud, speech bubble, shield, location pin, ribbons, frames and more. For each shape you can set line color and fill color separately, line thickness, rounded corners (as a percentage), a filled or empty version, and a solid or dashed line. Drag to the page and resize freely.

Can products be detected automatically on a page without adding each one manually?

Yes. The "Detect products" tool in the component bar (with an AI tag) scans the page you are editing and detects every product shown on it, adding a ready "Product" component (name and price, if present) to each one exactly in the right spot on the page, including automatic connection to the WhatsApp cart. Afterward you can edit the name and price of each product. Available on paid plans (the trial includes a free quota).

AI catalog editing
I created a catalog with AI, how do I edit its text, images and colors?

In a catalog created with AI, the "Catalog settings" card shows a "Edit catalog content" button. Clicking it opens an editor that shows one page at a time (no flipping, so you can edit freely anywhere on the page including the edges), and at the top there are "Next / Previous page" buttons to move between pages. You edit directly on the page: click any text (heading, paragraph, product name, price, description) and type over it in place; click an image to replace it with an upload from your computer; drag any text or image to move it elsewhere on the page (dragging moves, clicking edits), and the move is kept in the downloaded PDF too; and in the bottom bar you pick the brand colors and watch the catalog change color in real time. Everything happens live on the page, no forms and no waiting. When done, click "Finish editing", return to the regular flipbook, and the changes are saved. The PDF download updates automatically to match the edits. You can go back and edit as many times as you like.

Magic Touch
I designed a catalog myself and it looks scattered, is there a way to make it professional?

Yes, that is exactly what "Magic Touch" is for. In a catalog you designed yourself, the "Catalog settings" card shows a "Magic Touch - turn it into a professional design" button. Clicking it takes all the content you placed (headings, text, products and images) and builds a new catalog from it in print grade design: professional page templates, consistent typography and correct flow between the components. It shows you a "before and after", and if you like it you click "Apply to the whole catalog". Your original design is kept, you can always restore it from the "Pages before Magic Touch" area that appears below the page list. After Magic Touch you can also fine tune the result through "Edit catalog content". Available on paid plans (the trial includes a free quota).

Multilingual
Can I translate the catalog into another language?

Yes. In "Catalog settings" you will find "Translate catalog" with EN / AR / RU buttons. Clicking a new language opens a choice dialog: "Duplicate and translate" creates a copy of the catalog and translates only the copy, leaving the original untouched; "Translate the current one" translates the catalog you are on. The translation runs automatically with AI over all component text and the catalog name; publish for it to appear. The live catalog shows a language switcher (globe) so viewers can flip between languages. Available on paid plans.

Brand kit
What is a "brand kit" and how do I build a page with it?

The "Brand kit" tool in the component bar extracts a color palette from your logo (click "Extract from logo"), then you pick a primary color by clicking one of the colors, and a secondary color with Shift+click. From there you can apply the colors to all the buttons or shapes on the current page with one click, or choose one of 6 ready page templates (product card, price list, call to action banner, gallery, video, contact strip) that are already colored in your brand colors.

Reel
How do I create a reel (video) from the catalog for social media?

In the catalog settings click "Reel for social" and then "Create reel". The system automatically builds a short vertical video (about 30 seconds) that flips between the catalog pages with a smooth page turn animation, with background music if one was set for the catalog. When done you can preview it and download the file (webm) to share on Instagram and TikTok. The feature is available on paid subscriptions, and requires a modern desktop browser (recent Chrome/Edge).

Templates
Are there ready templates for designing the catalog?

Yes. In the component bar there is a "Templates" tool that opens a selection of 50 graphic styles (for example "Antarctica" in ice tones, "Kidsdoodle" colorful and round, "Tokyo Neon", "Sahara" and more), each with its own color palette, fonts and corners. Choose a graphic style and below it you see 20 previews of page layouts, each drawn in the design you picked: modern/classic cover, text heavy article, heading + 3 images, heading+subheading+3 paragraphs+video, image mosaic, product grid, featured product, price list, numbered benefits, in numbers, sale, quote, contact, and two text heavy newsletter templates with ads. Click a preview and the page is created immediately in that design, and every component is editable. You can pick a template at the start of the catalog and on every new page.

Page icon
Can I set an icon (favicon) for the catalog page?

Yes. In the "Catalog settings" card there is a "Page icon (favicon)" section, the small icon that appears in the browser tab when the catalog is opened. You can upload your own image, or create it with a click from the logo you already set. The icon is automatically resized to a suitable square, and appears to customers viewing the catalog at your address/subdomain.

Duplicate catalog
How do I duplicate an existing catalog?

In the admin panel, the side button bar (next to "Publish catalog" and "Embed catalog") has a "Duplicate catalog" button. Clicking it opens a dialog with a suggested name ("Copy of {catalog name}") you can change; "Create duplicate" builds a full copy: all pages, components and settings, design, translations and the table of contents. Unsaved changes are saved automatically first. The copy is created as a separate draft - it is not published, gets its own new address, and does not affect the original catalog. When done you are moved to editing the copy, and it also appears in "My catalogs". Related: in the translation dialog, "Duplicate and translate" uses the same duplication to create a separate translated version.

My catalogs
How do I see all my catalogs and each one's publish status?

In the management menu, the first button at the top is "My catalogs": clicking it opens a page with a card per catalog, and above each one a status badge - draft, partially published or fully published. Clicking a catalog opens it straight in the editor in catalog view. The same list with full management actions (publish on/off, upgrade to full, restore) also lives in your account area under "My catalogs".

Advanced editing
What new Canva-style tools are in the editor: layers, flip, text effects, frames, links and page colour?

The catalog editor gained ten new tools familiar from Canva, all in the properties panel that opens from the element toolbar. Layer order: four buttons send an element to the front, one layer forward, one layer back or to the very back, so you control what covers what. Flip horizontally and vertically, for any element and especially for photos. Letter spacing and line height as two sliders, which is what lets you tune Hebrew headings precisely. Text effects: shadow, lift, outline, neon and emboss. Shape frames for photos: circle, rounded, arch, hexagon, diamond and star. Image adjustment: blur, brightness, contrast and saturation, which combine with the filter you picked. A full colour picker for the text colour and its background, with your brand colours, ready-made colours and a free choice. An eyedropper that samples a colour from anywhere on screen (in Chrome and Edge). A background colour for the whole page. And a link on an element: pick an element, enter an address, and in the published catalog clicking it opens that address in a new tab. Keyboard shortcuts were added too: arrow keys move the selected element by one pixel (ten with Shift), Ctrl+D duplicates, and Ctrl+C with Ctrl+V copy an element and paste it onto any page.

What other text and design tools are in the editor: bold and italic, fonts, blend modes, animations, shapes, grouping and a grid?

Another round of Canva tools was added to the properties panel in the editor. Basic text styling: bold, italic, underline and strikethrough, in four buttons. Text alignment inside the element itself, justify included, separate from aligning the element on the page. A font picker with five Hebrew-capable families: Heebo, Assistant, Rubik, Frank Ruhl Libre and Secular One. Every one of them is embedded in the engine that produces the PDF, so the download looks exactly like the screen. Letter case: uppercase, lowercase or capitalised. Blend modes between an element and whatever sits under it: multiply, screen, overlay, darken, lighten and soft light. An entrance animation per element: fade, rise, zoom, pop or slide. It plays in the published catalog the moment the page is revealed, never while you are editing, and it respects the system's reduced-motion setting. Free shapes you can drop onto a page: rectangle, rounded rectangle, circle, triangle, star, line and arrow. Element grouping: group what sits in the same row, and from then on moving one moves them all, both by dragging and with the arrow keys. A design grid you can switch on, with snapping when you release a drag. The grid is an editing aid only and never appears in the published catalog or the PDF. And finally an exact height beside the width, with the aspect ratio lockable or free. A bug was fixed along the way: a height set by dragging a corner was kept in the browser but discarded on the server, so the PDF came back with the original ratio. It is kept now.

What 30 more Canva tools were added: lists, duotone, shape borders, page management, multi-select, QR and keyboard shortcuts?

A third round of Canva tools was added to the editor, thirty of them. In text: bulleted and numbered lists, an adjustable outline width, inner padding and corner rounding for the text box, superscript and subscript, a split into two or three columns, and an advanced shadow where you set the angle, distance and blur. In images: five duotones, a gradient fade in any of the four directions, a different corner radius per corner, and alt text for accessibility. In shapes: a border in the colour and width you choose, corner rounding, a solid, dashed or dotted line style, rotation, and a gradient fill from six sets including one built from your own brand colours. The gradient fill is available for the page background and for any element too. In pages: duplicate a page, add a blank one, delete a page and reorder pages, all from inside the editor. In the work itself: multi-select with Shift-click, select all with Ctrl+A, align everything selected to each other in six directions, a tidy-up that evens the spacing between them, an actions menu on right-click on any element, a QR code for any address, and a keyboard-shortcuts sheet that opens with a question mark. Delete a page by mistake and Ctrl+Z brings it back, and deleting always asks first.

Where does every setting live now? The editor panel was reorganised into categories

The properties panel in the editor was redesigned: instead of one long list of controls, everything is organised into collapsible categories, just like Canva. Position and size (including align-to-page, which moved here from the toolbar), typography, colour and background, image, style, effects, arrange and layers, pages and multi-selection. The floating toolbars were regrouped too, with separators between groups and a "More" button that opens the full panel. The whole look is softer: white surfaces, rounded corners, gentle shadows, thin sliders and round colour dots.

What is in the new elements library: graphics, stickers, charts and a brand-coloured price table?

The editor gained a full Canva-style elements library, opened from the floating "Elements" button on the editing screen. Inside, organised into searchable categories: Graphics - 29 professional vector illustrations (colour blobs, waves, arches, a laurel wreath, confetti, doodle arrows and more) that are automatically tinted with your catalog's brand colours; Stickers - 12 ready-made badges for sales and shops: a seal, a percent star, a price tag, a trust shield, an award rosette, a new badge and more; Shapes - every existing shape; Charts - a bar chart, a donut, a trend line and a price table, built from the numbers you enter and styled in your brand colours; and under More - shortcuts to the stock-photo library, the icons and a QR code. Every inserted element becomes a regular image on the page: drag, resize, rotate, shadow and delete it like any photo, and it prints crisply in the PDF too.

🧩Page Components

Heading and text
How do I add a heading or text to a page?

In the page editor, click "Heading" or "Text" in the component bar, the component is created on the page and you can type straight into it. Drag it to a position, stretch it to size, and in the settings panel choose text color and size (with a slider, by typing a number of points, or with arrows). There is also a "Write with AI" button that writes or improves the text for you.

Can I write text in English or mixed Hebrew and English?

Yes, fully. The heading, text and button components support Hebrew, English and a mix of them in the same sentence: each line automatically detects its language and aligns to the correct direction. An English sentence flows left to right with the period at its end, a Hebrew sentence stays right to left, and English brand names inside a Hebrew sentence (for example iPhone or your company name) are shown in the right place. This works in direct typing on the page, in the settings panel, and in the live catalog your customers see.

Button and link
How do I add a button or a clickable area?

The "Button" component creates a designed button with text and a target (a link to any address). The "Link" component creates a transparent clickable area you can stretch over any part of the page, for example over a product you want to lead to its page on your site. For both you set the target address in the settings panel.

Video
How do I add a video to a page?

Choose the "Video" component, then either upload a video file from your computer or paste a YouTube / Vimeo / mp4 link. The video plays right inside the page. You can choose whether it plays with sound (on click) or automatically in a loop without sound.

Gallery
How do I add a rotating image gallery?

Choose the "Gallery" component, upload several images at once (they are compressed automatically for fast loading), and set the switch rate in seconds. The gallery shows the images in a rotating carousel on the page. You can also attach an image from files uploaded earlier.

Contact
How do I add phone, WhatsApp or email buttons?

There are three dedicated components: "Phone" (dial on click), "WhatsApp" (open a chat) and "Email" (open a message). Enter the number or address, style the color and size, and your customers get in touch with one click from within the catalog.

Contact form
How do I add a contact form to the catalog?

In the component bar click "Contact" and place the form on the page. In the settings choose one of 20 design templates, and build the fields yourself: name, phone, email, message or any field you want (text, number, choose from a list), with the option to mark required fields and reorder them. You write which email address inquiries go to, and you can enable a security question (captcha) against spam as well as verifying the sender's email with a code. When a visitor fills in and sends, the inquiry reaches the email you set and you can reply directly. The send button is fully styleable, background color, text color, font and size, and it is aligned to the left side of the form.

Fonts
How do I choose or upload a font for text?

In the settings panel of any text component (heading, text, button, etc.) there is a "Font" picker with dozens of free fonts in Hebrew and English, choose one and see the result on the page immediately. Want your own font? Click the upload button next to the picker, confirm you have the rights to use the font, and upload a file (ttf/otf/woff). The font is saved to the catalog and available to all components.

Highlight
What does the highlight (marker) component do?

The "Highlight" component marks an area on the page with a glowing yellow marker (or any color you choose), great for calling out a deal, a price or a product. Drag it over the area you want and choose a color.

Share
How do I add social media share buttons?

The "Share" component adds LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter (X) and Instagram icons to the page. Turn each network on or off separately, and when you turn a network off the icon disappears from the page immediately (no need to save). For each network you can enter a link, and for Instagram the username is enough (for example @flipo) and the system turns it into a full address. The icons open for the customer in a new tab.

Advanced editing
How do I align a component to the center of the page?

While dragging a component, blue guide lines appear when the component reaches the exact center of the page, both horizontal center and vertical center, and the component gently snaps to the center. Just drag toward the middle and the lines will appear.

What is "My designs"?

After you style a component (colors, sizes) you can save it as a personal design through "My designs" at the bottom of the component bar, and apply it to new components with a click, keeping a consistent design language across the whole catalog.

Write with AI
How does AI copywriting work?

In the settings panel of a heading, text or button, click "Write with AI". Briefly describe what it is about (for example: "summer sale on flooring") and click "Write for me", and Claude, the AI by Anthropic, returns ready marketing copy that is applied to the component immediately. You can also "Improve the existing" to polish text you already wrote. During the trial you get 3 free copywriting uses; on a paid subscription it is unlimited.

Animations
Can I add an entrance animation to components on a page?

Yes. Every component (heading, text, button, image, video, product, any component) has an "Entrance animation" section in its settings panel. Choose a style (soft fade in, rise from below, slide, scale, bounce, flip or sharpen from blur), and for the "Slide" style you also choose where the component enters from (top/bottom/right/left) and at what speed (slow/normal/fast). A "Preview" button runs the animation on the component so you can see how it looks. The animation happens for the viewer the moment the page the component is on is opened in the catalog.

What is the "AI animation" button and how do I use it?

The "AI animation" tool in the component bar (with an AI tag) applies entrance animations to all the components on a page with one click: the AI chooses an animation suited to each component's type (for example bounce for buttons, rise for headings, scale for products) and arranges them into a graceful staggered entrance sequence, the top components enter first and then the rest one after another. After running it you can still change each component manually in its "Entrance animation" section. Available on paid plans (the trial includes a free quota).

QR code
How do I add a QR code to the catalog?

In the component bar click "QR code" and place it on the page. In the settings enter the link the QR will lead to (a website, a product page, WhatsApp, any address), and you can choose the code color and the background color so it matches your design, and even embed your logo in the center of the code. There is also a button to download the QR as a high quality image (PNG), handy for printing on signage, business cards or packaging.

🖼️Files & Media

My files
What is "My files" and how do I use it?

A personal file library inside the page editor (the "Files" tool in the component bar). Upload files from your computer to it, see a preview, mark files with a checkbox and download or delete them. Images are automatically converted to WebP and PDFs are compressed so the catalog loads fast.

Can I reuse a file I already uploaded?

Yes, without uploading it again and without wasting space. You can drag a file from "My files" directly into the page: an image becomes a gallery, video becomes a video component, audio becomes a sound component, and a PDF opens page selection. In addition, the gallery settings, the video settings and the "Add page" window each have a "Choose from my files" button that lets you pick an existing file. The button only appears when there are suitable files.

Quotas
How much storage do I have for files?

During the trial: up to 10MB. On a paid subscription: up to 300MB. A usage meter is shown at the top of "My files". Images are compressed automatically so the space is used efficiently.

File types
What files can I upload?

Any file type, images, video, PDF, documents and more. Two exceptions: you cannot upload folders, and archive files (ZIP, RAR and the like) are blocked.

🔗Publishing & Sharing

Content protection
Is my catalog protected from copying and downloading?

Yes, in several layers: when download is off, viewers have no download or print button; right click (save image/page), page dragging, and the browser's save and print shortcuts are blocked; and printing from the browser produces a blank page with a protection notice. The protections are active even in a catalog embedded on another site. Note: as with any website, screenshots cannot be fully prevented, but the common ways to download the file are blocked.

Promotion and reach
Is my catalog promoted in search engines (SEO)?

Yes, and automatically. After every publish, customers on a paid subscription get an SEO layer that is built behind the scenes: rich title and description for search engines, keywords, headings and alt text for pages, and structured data (schema). All of this happens without changing anything in the catalog's appearance, it just helps Google understand and display it. You do not need to do anything, it runs on its own with every publish.

Publishing
How do I publish the catalog to the world?

In the management menu click "Publish to web". The catalog goes live at your dedicated address (your-business.flipo.co.il) and anyone with the link sees it immediately, from any device. Publishing always succeeds: a catalog within your subscription's full catalog quota is shown in full, and a catalog beyond it (or during the trial) is published partially, a preview with a watermark, until you upgrade. After every significant change, publish again so visitors see the new version.

What is "partially published" and how do I make it full?

A partially published catalog shows visitors a preview only: the first pages with a watermark and a flipo ad page, without the full content. This happens during the trial, or when all the full catalogs in the subscription are already taken. To make it full, go to your personal area > My catalogs: if there is free room in the quota, click "Make full" and it is instant and free; if not, click "Upgrade to full publishing" and buy an extra full catalog at 30% off the plan price. You can also free up room: make another full catalog partial and then make the one you want full.

What does the green/gray toggle next to each catalog in the personal area do?

In your personal area > My catalogs there is a publish toggle next to each catalog: green = the catalog is published and visible to visitors, gray = off and hidden (its link stops working until you turn it on again). Turning off a full catalog also frees its spot in the quota for another catalog. The content is not deleted, you can turn it back on at any time.

What is the "one moment before publishing" dialog asking for a WhatsApp number or an email?

Before publishing, flipo checks the catalog can actually receive inquiries: if it has a shopping cart but no WhatsApp number for orders, or a contact form but no email address for submissions, a small dialog opens explaining exactly what is missing, with the field to complete it right there. Fill in the number or the email, click "Complete and publish", and the catalog saves and publishes in that same click, with no hunting for the setting elsewhere. If several forms are missing an address, the one you enter fills them all, and a form that already has its own address is never overwritten. You can also choose to publish anyway without completing it, via the small link at the bottom of the dialog.

Sharing
How do I share the catalog with customers?

The "Share" button in the management menu (or in the catalog bar) opens a window with the link to copy, a QR code ready to download and print, and quick sharing to WhatsApp and email. You can also share selected pages only.

Embedding
How do I embed the catalog on my website?

In the management menu click "Embed catalog" and get a short iframe code to paste on your site (WordPress, Wix and any platform). The flipbook catalog appears directly inside your website.

Password protection
Can I protect the catalog with a password?

Yes. When creating the catalog (or editing it) check "Password protection" and set a password. Visitors will be asked to enter it before viewing, useful for agent price lists or internal catalogs.

Views
How do I see how many people viewed the catalog?

In your personal area there is view data: how many entered the catalog, which page they reached, and which videos were watched. The data is collected anonymously from visitors only (your own views while editing are not counted).

What are the heatmap and AI insights in the personal area?

In the view statistics there is also a heatmap that shows where on each page visitors click the most, and above it an "AI insights" button that analyzes the data (views, drop off, click concentrations) and returns a few simple recommendations, for example to move a button to the page that gets the most interest. Available on paid plans (the trial includes a free quota).

Sending to customers
What are the recommended ways to send the catalog to customers?

There are four main ways: (1) WhatsApp sharing - the "Share" button in the management menu opens a ready WhatsApp message with the link; (2) Email sharing - the same button also offers sharing by email with the link; (3) QR code - available right in the share window, downloadable for printing on signage, business cards or a printed catalog; (4) Website embed - a short iframe code from the "Embed catalog" button shows the live catalog inside your site. Every customer who gets the link has instant access from any device, no app needed. You can also share selected pages only via the share icon on the open catalog page.

Social sharing
How do I use the catalog for marketing on Instagram and Facebook?

There are several ways to combine the catalog with social networks: (1) Catalog reel - in catalog settings click "Reel for socials" and download a short vertical video that flips through the catalog pages, ready to post on Instagram/TikTok; (2) Link in bio - paste your dedicated catalog address (yourname.flipo.co.il) in your Instagram bio and mention 'catalog in bio' in posts; (3) Link sharing - in Facebook posts you can paste the link directly; (4) QR in images - download the QR code and add it to posts, stories or prints. The reel and the QR are available via the "Share" and "Reel for socials" buttons in the management interface.

👤Account & Login

I forgot my password, what do I do?

If you signed up with Google, simply click "Sign in with Google" in the login window - no password at all. Otherwise click "Forgot password", enter your account email and receive a reset link. The link opens a screen to set a new password and signs you straight into management.

What does "Remember me on this computer" do?

Check the box at login and this computer stays logged in for 30 days, without entering a password on every visit. The permission is tied to your computer and network. "Log out" in the management menu removes the remembered login immediately.

How do I log out of the system?

Click "Log out" - in the admin menu, or via the logout icon that appears in the viewer toolbar while you are signed in. Only clicking logout clears the connection (including "Remember me") and requires a password next time. Exiting edit mode to viewing is NOT a logout: you can move freely between editing and viewing via the gear icon without entering a password again.

Personal area
What is in the personal area?

In the personal area (a button in the management menu) you see your subscription details and validity, update details and logo, view viewership data, renew your subscription, manage all your catalogs (publish toggle, full/partial status, upgrade and restore), buy an extra full catalog, and if needed, delete your account.

Number of catalogs
Can I manage several catalogs in one account?

Yes, with no limit: anyone (including during the trial) can create as many catalogs as they want with "Create new catalog" in the management menu, and switch between them from the dropdown. The difference is in publishing: the basic subscription includes one full catalog, and the rest of the catalogs are published partially (preview). You can add an extra full catalog to your subscription at any time at 30% off your plan price, from the personal area.

💳Payment & Renewal

Payment
How do I pay and activate a subscription?

In your personal area click "Activate subscription" and pay by credit card on a secure payment page. The subscription is activated immediately for a year. You can also reach out to us on WhatsApp and we will be glad to help with the process.

Renewal
How do I renew a subscription and what happens when it ends?

As the subscription nears its end we send a reminder email with a link to renew on a secure payment page. You can also enable automatic renewal in your personal area. If the subscription expires, the public catalog is shown in preview mode only until you renew, your content is saved and not deleted.

Cancellation
How do I cancel a subscription and what is the refund policy?

You can cancel at any time by contacting us or from your personal area. Refunds follow Israel's Consumer Protection Law: in a distance sale you can cancel within 14 days of the transaction, less a cancellation fee as permitted by law. Full details are in the terms on the site.

🔧Troubleshooting

Loading
The catalog loads slowly or gets stuck, what do I do?

Usually it is a heavy PDF file: compress the PDF before uploading (there are free online tools) and re upload it through "Reset". Also make sure your internet connection is stable, and try refreshing the page. If the problem persists, talk to us on WhatsApp and we will check it together.

Display
The changes I made are not showing to visitors

Changes are saved automatically on your side, but for visitors to see them you need to click "Publish to web" in the management menu. If you published and still do not see them, refresh the page on the visitor's side (or open an incognito window to bypass the cache).

The catalog does not look good on a phone

The catalog adapts automatically to mobile: on a narrow screen it switches to a single page view with swipe flipping. If something looks cut off, check that the components you added do not extend beyond the page boundaries in the editor. You can always send us a screenshot on WhatsApp and we will help.

I opened a catalog link and see "Catalog not found" or "not available yet" - what does it mean?

These are clear status screens instead of a blank page: "Catalog not found" appears when the link is wrong or the catalog was removed; "This catalog is not available yet" appears when the catalog exists but no pages have been published; and after a temporary network problem you will see "We couldn't load the catalog" with a "Try again" button. Catalog owners who see "The catalog is still empty" can click "Add first page" and start building.

Video
The video does not play in the catalog

Make sure the link is valid (public YouTube/Vimeo, or a direct mp4 file). A video set to "with sound" requires the visitor to click to play (that is how browsers work); a video without sound plays automatically. If you uploaded a file, make sure the upload finished successfully.

Browser
Which browsers does the catalog work in?

In all modern browsers: Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox. Viewing the catalog works on desktop and mobile; editing and management are available on desktop only. If something does not work in a particular browser, tell us and we will take care of it.
